ABOUT GLOBALHEART CHURCH MONTREAL

Our History

In 1992, Pastors Gerard and Sue Keehan planted London Christian Life Centre, a church that quickly grew into a vibrant and thriving community. Six years later, they followed a new calling to Perth, Western Australia, where they established what would become Globalheart Church — a bold and faith-filled church with a passion to reach the nations.

Since then, under their leadership, the Globalheart Church family has grown across continents. Churches have been planted in Lusaka, Zambia in 2014, Hamburg, Germany in 2016, Melbourne, Australia in 2021, and Montreal, Canada in 2022. Alongside these church plants, they have also invested years supporting churches in Ukraine and Japan, driven by a deep desire to see lives transformed around the world.

Who We Are

Globalheart Church Montreal launched in the heart of the West Island in mid-2022. As a dynamic Pentecostal church, our gatherings are vibrant, joy-filled, and bilingual — held in both English and French. We’re building a warm and welcoming church that reflects the richness and diversity of Québec culture.

We are a multi-generational and multicultural community that believes God is doing something fresh in our city. We invite you to be part of a church that is not just growing in size, but growing in impact. One life, one family, one city at a time.

Our Vision

We see a growing family of churches around the world transforming communities with the salvation and love of Jesus.

(Hebrews 11:1; James 2:14–17; Hebrews 11:6)

Evangelical beliefs

Our beliefs are simple, clear, and centered on the Gospel. As a Pentecostal church, we hold the Bible as our ultimate and infallible authority.
(2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:19–21; John 5:39; Matthew 24:35)

One God

We believe in one God, the Creator of all things, who eternally exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
(Genesis 1:1; Isaiah 43:10–11; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Matthew 28:19; John 14:16–17)

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died for us, rose again physically, and ascended to the right hand of the Father.
(John 1:1–3; Matthew 1:23; John 14:30; John 2:11; Isaiah 53:4–6; Matthew 28:6; Acts 1:9)

The return of Jesus

We believe that Jesus will return, just as He promised, to take His Church.
(John 14:1–3; Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:15–17)

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is active today, producing spiritual fruit and distributing spiritual gifts within the Church.
(1 Corinthians 6, 12 & 14; 1 Corinthians 1:7)

Baptism in the Holy Spirit

We believe all believers can receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, with the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.
(Acts 1:1–8; 2:1–38; 8:15–19; 10:44–47; 19:1–7)

Our condition without God

We believe all people are born separated from God because of sin, and that salvation is found only through faith in Jesus Christ, who came to save the world, not to condemn it.
(Genesis 3; John 3:17–18, 36)

New birth through faith

We believe that everyone needs to be born again through faith in Jesus Christ, and that the only way to be cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ.
(John 3:3, 16; 1 Peter 1:18–19)

Water baptism and communion

We believe in the ordinances of water baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper, practiced by all believers in remembrance of what Jesus has done for us.
(1 Corinthians 11:23–26; Matthew 26:26–28; Mark 16:16; Matthew 28:19)

Power of the Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit empowers believers to live holy lives and walk in obedience to God.
(Galatians 5:16; John 14:16–17)

Divine healing

We believe in divine healing through faith in Jesus Christ.
(Matthew 8:16–17; James 5:14–15; Mark 16:17–18)

The resurrection

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost—those who believe in Jesus will receive eternal life, and those who reject Him will face eternal separation from God.
(John 3:36; John 5:28–29; 2 Thessalonians 1:8–9; Revelation 20:11–15)
