OUR CHURCH

Who We Are
Our Vision
We see an increasing family of churches across the world, impacting communities with the salvation and love of Jesus.
Discussion: Why is it important to have a vision as a community of people?
Our Beliefs
Globalheart Church comes under the banner of Australian Christian Churches, which is a movement of Pentecostal Churches in voluntary cooperation.
As a Church we believe:
We believe that the Bible is God’s Word. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives.
We believe in one eternal God Who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely Holy.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ as both God and man, is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life.
We believe that in order to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be baptised in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit enables us to use spiritual gifts, including speaking in tongues, this is the initial evidence of baptism in the Holy Spirit.
We believe that God wants to heal and transform us so that we can live healthy and prosperous lives in order to help others more effectively.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised.
Our Aim
To see every person, reach their unlimited potential and fulfil their God-given purpose and destiny. (Ephesians 2:10 and Jeremiah 29:11)
Our Services
We do everything we can to make sure that our messages are presented in a contemporary way, which are life-giving, uplifting and encouraging to anyone who does not yet know Jesus and is not yet part of a church.
We consider reaching people one of our greatest responsibilities. Our weekend services serve people at all stages in their spiritual journey but are primarily geared toward those who don’t yet have a relationship with Jesus, or who aren’t yet part of a church.
We also have some other special services we run throughout the year, these include:
Heart for the House - financially supporting the building fund of the Church and strengthening our home base.
Missions Weekend - financially supporting projects outside of our local Church, fulfilling what we believe God has asked us to do as Globalheart.
Compassion Weekend - financially supporting children in Rwanda, Africa through sponsorship.
Discussion:
Why is it important to constantly make sure we are adjusting how we present the Good News of Jesus?
Why is it important to have a Church service?

Discussion: Do any of these 4 missions or 4 values appeal to you more than the others? Why?
Our Leadership
1 CORINTHIANS 14:33, 40
“For God is not a God of disorder; but of peace…Everything should be done in a fitting and orderly way.”
Believers who invest their hearts, time, families, and finances in the building of a local church deserve to have confidence in church leadership. People are looking for leaders who conduct themselves with integrity and respect when making decisions that affect their lives.
Our church government is made up of three groups:
Guided by Pastors
Our campus Pastors are led by the Senior Pastors here in Perth. They oversee the day-to-day ministry and operations of the church.
Senior Pastors (Perth): Ps Gerard and Ps Sue Keehan
Hamburg, Germany Location Pastors: Ps Mattias and Nicole Jirava
Lusaka, Zambia Location Pastors: Ps Liam and Lisa Clarke
Melbourne Location Pastors: Ps Ely and Fahtima Macgregor
Montreal, Canada Location Pastors: Ps Spencer and Leah Nicolls
Protected by “The Vision Team”
The Vision Team are members of the congregation in Perth, appointed by the Senior Pastors to oversee the finances and direct the procurement of facilities needed by the church. The provide counsel to the Senior Pastor regarding the major financial commitments of the church. The Vision Team serves as the Eldership of the church.
Strengthened by “Overseers”
The Overseers are pastors of respected congregations and ministries around the world, who love Globalheart Church and are willing to provide spiritual protection to the church. They may be called in to help in accountability matters relating to the Senior Pastors if requested to do so by the Vision Team.
Discussion: Why is it important to have levels or accountability in any organisation?
